Continuing Training

Graduates of the Improv Essentials Core Training program can continue their journey in the Continuing Training Class. This class meets weekly on Tuesdays 7:00 - 9:00 PM and focuses on continuing to build and refine skills learned in Improv Essentials courses One through Five. The class is designed to allow for maximum reps and play time and offers students a space to immerse themselves in the joys of improv. The teacher works with the students to identified needs, desires, and areas of growth so students can get the most out of their continued improv training.

Advanced Training Program

The Advanced Training Program (ATP) is for graduates of our Improv Essentials Core Training program or other experienced community members looking to advance their improv skills. Class meets weekly on Wednesdays 7:00 - 9:00 PM on an ongoing basis and is tailored to the needs of the class. Our expert instructors work with our students to identify areas to strengthen and craft the class to address those needs. Goals are set at the start of each enrollment period (approximately every two months) and the curriculum is designed to work towards those goals. Students receive a lot of individual feedback and are supported in working on their specific goals as improvisers.

The Grown-Up Table

The Grown-Up Table is a class for mature improvisers of Gen X, Boomers, or any old soul who’s forever young at heart! The class focuses on finding freedom through play and honing improv skills in an environment that is supportive and inclusive. Class meets weekly on Tuesdays 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM. The class will entail both improv games and scene work and is recommended for those with prior training in improvised scene work (Mockingbird's Improv Essentials level 3 class or above or equivalent training)
